Camping Essentials for a Family Camping Trip
When going camping with your family it is always in your best interest have a prepared camping list. It is never good feeling to go get your camping tent only to find out you left it at home. So, before you leave the driveway go through this checklist first.
Camping Tent/Shelter:
* Camping tent: Most campers have one camping tent for sleeping, and a screen camping shelter for eating or a place to get out of mother natures elements. Just make sure your camping site will be large enough.
* Sleeping bags: Enough for each camper.
Food/Dining:
* A folding table and chairs
* A table cloth
* Grill or camp stove
* Charcoal and lighter fluid
* Matches or lighter
* Camping dishes and or paper products
* Many trash bags
* Can opener and bottle opener
* All coolers filled with your food, drinks, ice etc...
* Always bring enough water to drink or to use for cleaning. Unless you plan on boiling or sterilizing your water.
* Cooking essentials: pot holders, hot dog sticks, aluminum foil, knives, measuring cups ect...
* All food items and plenty of snacks. Make the food quick, easy and simple. Remember you are camping.
First-Aid Kit:
* Pain medicine and or personal medications
* Band-Aids
* Hydrogen peroxide
* Scissors and tweezers
* Gauze
* Rinse solutions
* Anti diarrhea medicine
* Antibiotic wipes
* Burn ointment
Personal Hygiene:
* Tooth brush and tooth paste
* Wash rags and towels
* Soap
* Toilet paper
* Brush/combs
* Lip balm
* Sun Block
* Bug spray
Miscellaneous Items:
* Flash light
* Batteries
* Camera
* Compass
* Fishing gear
* Rope
* Whistle
* Tools

* Games: Baseball, cards, golf, Frisbee's, soccer etc..
* Gear for any water sports

This camping list is just a list of many items that could be helpful for you and your family.
