What makes a good cook?

skilled cooks will be good cooks, but I've had lousy meals in popular restaurants. I also have five-star meal with friends at home. A friend served pork, sourdough bread, Napa cabbage salad and chocolate souffle. Their simple meal was a gourmet meal in the true sense of the word.

In the dictionary, the word is defined as a cook "food by the action of heat to prepare." I think there is more to cooking than this. What makes a good cook?

A good chefunderstands recipes. Before the cook starts to prepare a recipe, he or she reads everything. The chef understands acronyms, terms of cuisine, and follow the recipe step-by-step. After the chef knows the recipe, he or she can change and adapt to personal taste.

A good cook can equipment. The chef may have a blender, food processor, blender, mixer, grill pan and other devices. This chef is kitchen appliances like a whip,Mellon-baller, and micro levels.

A good chef master basic techniques. The chef knows how to fry, fry Takeaway, steam, grill, shallow-frying, stir-fry, and food from the microwave. In addition, the chef knows how to make a white sauce, sauce with cornstarch and flour, eggs, protein, and mood.

A good chef uses fresh ingredients. Fruit and vegetables are the starting point for meals. The chef buys fresh fish and tasty meat.

A good chefsharpening knives. As the old saying goes, a blunt knife is a knife is dangerous. For this reason, and to facilitate cutting, keep a good cook to keep sharp knives properly and securely stored.

A good cook food safety practices. He or she washes her hands thoroughly before handling food and during preparation. Separate cutting boards are used for meat and poultry and after use, wash well.

A good chef admits the kitchen. My mother told me when I was a teenager and Ihave never forgotten. She was an excellent cook, and I learned a lot from her. He taught me well dishes pots, pans, e.

A good cook blends always love you. You can not hurry love, when you add, you have to do what you pay for, and the time to do so. If the first ingredient, or the last, is a cook is the love of food is so delicious.
