Camping Preparation is situational

Yes, there are checklists that can be used, but in fact, the campsite preparation depends on how comfortable you want to be, how much "stuff" you want to tote along, and in some cases, the vehicle that you are taking. It also depends on how long you're planning a trip, and if somewhere, where shops and services such as water and electricity may or may not be available.

If you're a minimalist, white, the weather will cooperate, and if you plan toEat or purchase food on the street, you can just take a tent, sleeping bag and some change of clothes. If you have a family, or just have more luxury and comfort, the packaging options. One of the interesting trips I ever had was when I was in college, between jobs, between friends and between classes. It 'been a motorcycle trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I took three changes of clothes in a bag tied to one side of the motorcycle, a sleeping bag strappedto another, and a few hundred dollars. No tent, kitchen or other devices. There was an explosion ... I met some other bikers that I made friends with me, and camped with. Luckily they had a sheet for cover as more rain for the use of the night was.

We visited the Parkway, and walked a couple of waterfalls. The views were absolutely beautiful and with some of the bends, speed of 35 mph limit was almost too high! The same route has been planned were largely asstops along the route. You can do a trip like this kind of heart, simple, if you travel alone or with only one other person wrong Against this kind of spur of the moment, unplanned, with the wind situation.

If you do not need much structure can be really great if you are the only thing you care will make a point home. It gives you the opportunity to explore and discover the back roads, the experience and the things you can nototherwise experience on the road, if you try to maintain a strict timetable.

In those days, I would not do a trip like this without at least one tent. Ok just kidding ... You must be a tent for five people comfortably, as few people or a mobile home for those of you even more comfort. I need to bring children and dogs, if you have them, shells of children or dogs stuff ', games and toys for children and dogs ... Dog, dog food, dog toys and tie-out. Gotta Havea guitar, guitar strings, guitar stand, perhaps a pair of bongos, a couple of music books, reading books, stuff for the kitchen, pots, pans, stoves, Coleman (packing the entire kitchen).

Even Coleman lanterns, flashlights, radio / CD player, CD (iPod and iPod for those of you technically advanced) are the batteries, extension cords, water hose, rope, lots of clothes, extra shoes, hats, sunglasses alone, games, or two coolers (one for food and a beverage);Food, TP, paper towels, plates, rods, fishing equipment, the Swiss boxcutter, can opener, a canoe, paddle, cushion for the canoe, life jacket, insect repellent, sunscreen, first aid kit, other significant, their stuff (perhaps a second vehicle for all this), protector floor for the tent, mattress cleaning your feet before entering the tent, a bucket of water, rubbish bags, cookware, cutlery and plates, fold- out queen-size bed (seriously), sleeping bags, pillows, tablecloths,Cloth, full-sized grill / smoker, a folding picnic table, fan, chairs, hammock ... and so on ...

Ok, so things have changed ... We want our luxury (Essentials) these days, even if a bit rough '... So for those of you how it is structured to make a list and see that things SUV up ... for those who light ... Pack only the essentials, like please ... Enjoy the journey.

May and for those who like checklists, here is a copy and change, any way you want. This is a fairly comprehensive list, but as above, varying needs and preferences above, you can add or delete what I think is necessary.
